Fazela Khatun
I am ya first young British South Asian podcaster from London town.
I studied Fashion Promotion for three years in London and for my final major project I started developing You Get Me. I've always wanted to have my own podcast where I could discuss what was on my mind and talk to others about it too.
Culture and diversity was always a big part of my journey and after the BLM protests it became more apparent to me how much being a young person and my culture had impacted my life. I wanted to be a voice for my generation as I have always felt lost and confused. Never knowing where I belonged and that's where You Get Me came along.
A voice for you, for me and for everyone who needs to know there are others experiencing the same. You're not alone.
